Fun Fact:
These may just be the only 3 pictures that I have of me smiling.
Fun Fact:
I love Spongebob Squarepants.
Fun Fact:
I'm orginally from Wheeling, WV.
I've never been one to enjoy talking about myself, so this about me page is me submitting to webpage culture...just know that.
When I think about how I want the world to see me, my immediate thought is that I don't want that. I don't want the world to see anything but Christ in me, so honestly, He's who this about me page is about. It's about who He made me, what He's done for me, what He's done through me, and His grace and love towards me.
My purpose, in anything that I do, is to see Christ glorified and my desire is that any fruit that I produce be a seed for someone to come to know the love of God.
Philippians 1:6 is where my faith was built.
My identity is and will forever be: a child of the King. You'll learn a little more about me along the way but this part is key.
I am 30 years old and I live in Charlotte, NC. I work full time for Domino's Pizza in marketing. I attended Johnson C. Smith University and graduated Magna Cum Laude with my Bachelors in Communication Arts. Post undergrad, I attended Liberty University and received my Masters in Theological Studies.
I am an author, a speaker, a marketer, a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a mentor, & a friend.
The things that I enjoy most are when I get to give myself and my experiences to the people I encounter in life. I mentor teenage girls and serve on the youth team at my local church because I know that God allowed me to overcome my own trials to be a testimony to someone else.
Not to be redundant but....Jesus.
I can't overstate His presence in my life and the love I hold for Him. I also love travelling, my favorite destination thus far has been Dakar, Senegal. I actually enjoy writing, which may seem obvious since I'm an author but believe me, it was a journey to get to enjoying writing. I love DIY projects, history, fall, my family (nephew pictured above), my friends, & sleeping.
April 1, 2018. This was the day that life started. Easter Sunday at 27 years old, God called me back home and set Himself as a pillar in my life. Life before this date didn't mean much but every day since has been overflowing with purpose.
"There is a God shaped vacuum in the heart of every man which cannot be filled by any created thing, but only by God, the Creator, made known through Jesus."
- Blaise Pascal
There's so much more to come!
