Welcome to my writing journey.

Here's a snapshot of my journey to date: 

• @ age 9 - I wrote my first poem that was published in a book for young poets. It was called If I Were Queen
• @ age 10  - I began writing poetry (non published) for family events, funerals, and as a personal outlet
• @ age 15 - I had my second poem published online. It's titled Thank You
• @ age 18 - I began writing for the local newspaper called The Village News. I wrote editorials and had a personal column.
• @ age19 - Wrote a book of poems entitled Black Girl after a life changing visit to Africa
• @ age 20 - I rejected writing. I believed it was a childhood hobby that I was okay at it but no longer considered it apart of my life

Post early adulthood ignorance: 

• @ age 27 - God told me to write a book out of the blue, I hadn't written in years
• @ age 29 - My first book was released entitled Disassembly Required
• @ age 29 - I realized that what God put in me was how He intended to use me all along. I gave in to the idea that I am a writer and  I submitted that gift back to God. 

I am currently working on book #2
